Benefits: Burn-off loss ≤0.5%, replaces 30–70% new
sand—significantly reducing material costs.
4. Cooling & Moisture Adjustment
Equipment: Twin-disk cooler + mist humidification system
Function: Cools hot sand (≤120°C) to 40–50°C and precisely controls
moisture (2.5–3.5%) via multi-point mist spraying—preventing
casting defects caused by overheated sand.
Control: PLC monitors sand temperature and humidity in real-time,
automatically adjusting cooling air and water flow.
5. Sand Mixing System
Equipment: High-speed twin-roll muller or continuous mixer
Function: Blends reclaimed sand, new sand, bentonite, coal dust in
precise ratios to produce stable green sand.
Uniformity: Mixing homogeneity ≥98%, meeting high strength and
permeability requirements.
6. Sand Conveying & Storage
Equipment: Belt conveyor, bucket elevator, sand silo, pneumatic
conveying (optional)
Function: Transports mixed sand to molding station hoppers or
intermediate silos for continuous feeding.
Layout: Customizable "straight", "U-shape", or "tower"
configurations based on plant height and workflow.
