    Product Description of Clay Sand Processing Line
    The Clay Sand Processing Line is a fully automated sand reclamation system integrating spent sand recovery, crushing & screening, cooling & moisture adjustment, mixing, conveying, and storage. Designed for green sand casting processes, it is widely used in foundries producing automotive components, engine blocks, machine tool castings, valves, and agricultural machinery—where high-volume, continuous production is required. Utilizing a "thermal reclamation + moisture control + homogeneous mixing" process, the line enables efficient sand recycling, significantly reducing raw sand and bentonite consumption, improving sand property consistency, ensuring casting surface quality and dimensional accuracy, and supporting green and intelligent foundry development.

    With a capacity range of 5–50 tons/hour, the line features a modular design, allowing flexible configuration based on customer plant layout, sand processing requirements (e.g., thermal reclamation), and production needs. It supports standalone operation or full-line integration, seamlessly connecting with molding machines, pouring lines, and shakeout systems to form a complete automated foundry line.
    System Components & Process Flow
    1. Spent Sand Recovery
    Function: Collects hot spent sand from the shakeout, conveying it via vibratory conveyor or bucket elevator to the next stage.
    Features: High-temperature resistant (≤600°C), wear-resistant, uniform feeding.

    2. Crushing & Screening
    Equipment: Roll crusher + drum screen/inertial screen
    Function: Crushes lumps to ≤3mm and removes cores, metal fines, sintered clinkers—ensuring clean sand grains..
    Efficiency: Screening efficiency ≥95%, impurity removal >98%.

    3. Thermal Reclamation System (Optional)
    Equipment: Triple/Four-drum thermal reclaimer
    Function: Indirectly heats sand to 600–700°C (gas/electric) to burn off residual resin, carbon, and organics—restoring sand activity and improving reuse quality.
    Benefits: Burn-off loss ≤0.5%, replaces 30–70% new sand—significantly reducing material costs.

    4.  Cooling & Moisture Adjustment
    Equipment: Twin-disk cooler + mist humidification system
    Function: Cools hot sand (≤120°C) to 40–50°C and precisely controls moisture (2.5–3.5%) via multi-point mist spraying—preventing casting defects caused by overheated sand.
    Control: PLC monitors sand temperature and humidity in real-time, automatically adjusting cooling air and water flow.

    5. Sand Mixing System
    Equipment: High-speed twin-roll muller or continuous mixer
    Function: Blends reclaimed sand, new sand, bentonite, coal dust in precise ratios to produce stable green sand.
    Uniformity: Mixing homogeneity ≥98%, meeting high strength and permeability requirements.

    6. Sand Conveying & Storage
    Equipment: Belt conveyor, bucket elevator, sand silo, pneumatic conveying (optional)
    Function: Transports mixed sand to molding station hoppers or intermediate silos for continuous feeding.
    Layout: Customizable "straight", "U-shape", or "tower" configurations based on plant height and workflow.
